Miss Sharon Tam graduated with a dual degree of Social Sciences (Political Science and Law) and Laws from the University of Hong Kong. She is currently a lawyer at an international law firm, specializing in providing legal advice to Hong Kong-listed property developers and investors on the acquisition and sale of integrated development projects, retail properties, commercial, and industrial buildings. She also has experience in providing legal advice on real estate financing and refinancing to banks, financial institutions, and borrowers.
Sharon actively participates in voluntary work for professional organisations in the industry. She holds positions such as a member of the Law Society’s Member Benefit Committee, Reverse Mortgage Committee, Pro Bono and Community Service Committee, Community Relations Committee, and the legal column working group of Sing Tao Daily, among others. She is also a member of the organising committee for the Law Week and Teen Talk, the flagship events of the Law Society. Additionally, Sharon volunteers as a Duty Lawyer for the Duty Lawyer Service under the Department of Justice and serves as an adjunct professor for the property subject at the University of Hong Kong’s PCLL program.
Sharon is also dedicated to community and youth work in various regions. Her roles include being a founding member of the China Law Practice Global Network (Hong Kong Chapter) and a director of the International Youth Legal Exchange Federation.
