Vincent graduated from the Master of Social Sciences in Social Work program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022, with the honour of being placed on the Dean’s List for his outstanding academic performance and obtained professional qualification therefore. He attended training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy, and has applied related techniques in serving people in recovery from mental illness and men services. He has also acquired experience in using singing bowls and photography in his counseling process. He firmly believes that every client has the potential to grow and is willing to be their companion, believing that they have unique strengths and abilities to solve the problems they face.

Before obtaining his social work professional qualification, he obtained a double degree in Law and Social Sciences (Sociology) (First Class Honours) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was awarded the Wu Yee Sun Award for the Most Distinguished Graduating Student and the Sociology Award. During his studies, he participated in various research projects on non-profit organizations and legal systems at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Oxfam Hong Kong, the ChinaFile of the Asia Society, the University of Sussex in the UK, and the China Philanthropy Research Institute at Beijing Normal University. He also served as an intern at various non-profit organizations such as the Make a Difference Institute and the Society for Community Organization. He founded the social innovation project A Store in CUHK at that time. Later, he founded EMpower, a social innovation project related to ethnic minorities and family law, and won the champion in the Law for Change Student Competition 2018 organized by PILnet, The Global Network for Public Interest Law.

He joined a law firm in 2019 and was admitted as a solicitor in 2021, with a scope of work that includes general civil and criminal litigation. He has accumulated experience in handling criminal cases involving juvenile delinquency, including but not limited to cases involving drugs, triads, and Anti Extradition Bill Movement, and understands the importance of rehabilitation in such cases.
